YouthHubAfrica, with support from UNFPA Nigeria, launched the “No Hoodie, No Honey” animation to raise more awareness among young people on contraceptive use and increase access to comprehensive sexuality education. The No Hoodie No Honey animation aimed to educate young people on the importance of protecting themselves during sexual intercourse, particularly with the use of condoms. The second version was produced and launched in 2022. Before the launch of the animation, YouthHubAfrica carried out research to find out the general perception of young people about condoms. It was discovered that young people in Nigeria still do have access to SRHR information which includes family planning services and related information.
