The outcome of the received FOI:
- UBEC is supporting our UBE amendment campaign on the education funding increase
- Ministry of Education, FCDA: information obtained formed the core point of the #FundNationalLibrary Campaign. This campaign is still ongoing
- Information from the Ministry of Education, NYSC, Ministry of Finance Supported our research and policy work on the viability of NYSC
- Information from the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Finance informed our policy brief on the United Nation Junior Professional Program. Copies of the Policy briefs were shared with key government agencies and parastatals, and development partners. The Ministry of Youth wrote a rejoinder to the published policy brief.
In 2018 Five Freedom of Information (FoI) letters were filed to
- Universal Basic Education to request for the number of un-accessed UBE fund;
- The Office of the Vice President for Details in Presidential Scholarship for Innovation and Development (PRESSID);
- Secretary to the Government of the Federation for a copy of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to the United Nations Junior Professional Officers’ (UNJPO) Program;
- Vice Chancellor of Obafemi Awolowo University to request for Anti-Sexual Harassment Policy of the school;
- Director of Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) on the details of the persons involved and affected by the building collapse in Jabi.
