In 2018, YouthHubAfrica partnered with the with Act4Accountability, Diaspora Rise Up with support from the MasterCard Foundation to map out Youth-Led Organisations in Lagos, Kaduna, Abuja, and Kano; provided training in fundraising and organisation development while also supporting the local organisations to develop their projects and upload on the DIAfund platform.
The training focus was to enable participants to understand the key concepts for organizational development and effective nonprofit management, highlight the different types of organizational system, understand the fundamentals of Fundraising and how to effectively use the DIAFund Web platform. At the end of the training, certificates and gift items were given to participants during the training. There was a follow up webinar training. At the end of the project about 150 youth led and youth Focus organisations were reached.
