SPA II

The SPA II project aims to address the challenges of poverty and unemployment faced by young Nigerians, particularly those residing in marginalised communities. The project aims to explore and establish new ways to get youth, women, and PWDs interested in directly addressing the issues affecting their communities. 

Targeted communities across the nation for the implementation are Borno, Adamawa and Yobe, Lagos, FCT, Akwa-Ibom, and Enugu states. 

 

The SPA II project intends to:

Engage young Nigerians, particularly women, with capacity-building information to enable them to exercise their democratic rights. 

For them to enjoy a sustainable livelihood through the government’s adoption of climate change actions 

And their increased action through skills-building, youth-led campaigns, and advocacy

In line with this year’s International Youth Day theme, “Youth Advancing Multilateral Cooperation through Technology and Partnerships,” YouthHubAfrica, in collaboration with ActionAid Nigeria, Ativista and the Global Platform, to present From Learning to Demanding: African Youth for Accountable Multilateralism, a dynamic, Month-long learning and advocacy campaign that seeks to promote responsible multilateralism in Nigeria and across Africa. .

This program is designed to strengthen youth understanding and involvement in Multilateral relationships to address austerity in Africa. It will amplify youth voices, the contributions of young people who are leveraging technology and partnerships to drive inclusive development, foster demand, responsible, inclusive accountable multilateral engagement across the continent.
